Your new role
We are looking for an experienced, Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the established maintenance team. The site precisely manufactures material for the manufacturing industry, that takes a long time to manufacture and has very fine tolerances. The material is very high value and so a key attention to detail is essential for the position.
You will be:

  • Providing preventative / reactive maintenance on all machinery
  • Repairing / improving all aspects of electrics on site, including 3 phase supply, drives, motors, invertors, and PLCs
  • Installing new equipment
  • Supporting the TPM structure with PPMs
  • Supporting with facilities maintenance as and when required

The role is a DAYS based role, working Monday - Friday, with an early finish on a Friday!
The role also includes a call out rota, once in every 3 weeks (paid at minimum 4 hours, 1.5x)

What you'll need to succeed
You will be apprentice trained and hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

  • Experience working within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong electrical skillset, with experience working on motors, invertors and drives
  • Skilled in PLC fault finding (Siemens preferable)
  • Hold 18th Edition wirings regs qualification
