Position: Electrical Installation Projects/ Estimator
Location: Hybrid
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Approx £50,000 plus car and package
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing team to deal with the site surveys, small to medium quotations to setting up and managing the projects.
These electrical installation projects could range from a value of £2K to half a million which could include anything from a small lighting install to a full refurbishment.
The right person for this position will already have a strong commercial electrical installation background and have moved more into a projects style role. They do need to have experience in completing site surveys, creating quotations, dealing with suppliers, sub contractors as well as some on site project management experience.
We do need this person to be electrically qualified preferably with test and inspect.
A large part of this role will be creating quotations/estimates so we need to have this experience as well as being good with excel and have good grammar.
This position will be hybrid, however we are asking them to attend the office near Slough for a meeting one day a week
Requirements
- Strong background in commercial electrical installations
- Organised and run installation projects
- Must have experience estimating for installation projects
- Excellent IT skills
- Must be electrically qualified
- Experience with DALI lighting control systems would be an advantage
- Willing to do some testing if needed
- Understanding of P&L and budgets
- Can read and adjust drawings
- Must have a full UK driving licence
