Electrical Installation Manager - Solar PV
Location: Flexible (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

A leading and rapidly expanding company in the renewable energy sector is looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality Solar PV installations across the UK. This role is ideal for a qualified electrical professional with strong leadership skills, hands-on installation experience, and a passion for driving Net Zero outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage electrical installation teams across commercial-scale renewable energy projects
Oversee all stages of electrical installation to ensure compliance with regulations and design specifications
Collaborate with in-house design and planning teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Conduct site visits to inspect electrical works, resolve issues, and monitor progress
Ensure all materials are checked on arrival and flag any discrepancies or quality concerns
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, challenges, and adjustments
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Support team development by identifying training needs and mentoring engineers
ECS Gold Card (Essential)
C&G 2391 / EAL equivalent in inspection and testing
Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical installation, including at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role
Proven experience with Solar PV systems, including inverters, switchgear, protection systems, and commissioning
Strong understanding of IET Wiring Regulations and BS7671
Relevant qualifications such as:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
C&G 2365 or equivalent
SMSTS or NEBOSH - advantageous
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve on-site challenges quickly
Confident communicator with team leadership experience and a collaborative approach
