We are currently seeking an Electrical Installations Lecturer to join our esteemed education institution located in the vibrant city of Slough. Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on various electrical installation topics to students.
  • Develop and update course materials, ensuring alignment with industry standards and educational guidelines.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, examinations, and practical assessments.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, fostering their personal and professional growth.
  • Mentor and inspire students to pursue excellence in their studies and careers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to electrical installations.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of electrical installation techniques, principles, and best practices.
  • A recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective lectures and practical sessions.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations related to electrical installations.
  • Experience working with electrical installation tools and equipment.
  • Teaching or mentoring experience in an educational setting would be advantageous.
  • A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) is desirable.
