If you are an experienced engineer with a strong background servicing and repair of electrical equipment then this could be the ideal new role for you! 

This will be a workshop-based role where you will be working mainly on inspection, maintenance, service of electrical equipment such as portable electrical distribution equipment. 

You will ideally have strong fault finding and diagnostic skills and a recognised qualification of City and Guilds or higher and experience of working on similar electrical equipment would be beneficial.

Job Role 

Inspect of equipment and producing survey reports. 

Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repair of electrical distribution equipment 

Perform routine electrical testing, corrective maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and equipment modifications. 

Provide technical advice and support regarding fault investigations. 

Drive continuous improvement initiatives.  

Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, COSHH, Engineering Hygiene, Risk Assessments, and safe working practices in a hazardous environment. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

Experience in testing and fault finding on various electrical distribution equipment. 

Ability to anticipate, diagnose, and repair faults efficiently. 

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. 

Understanding of Service Level Agreements and service targets
