I am working with a company in North Yorkshire that are leading the way with Offshore and Drilling equipment.

The client focuses on critical equipment used on the drilling rig, for flow control and to support offshore and subsea operations.

Our client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for a 6 month contract with a potential extension.

This role is outside IR35.

The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have subsea/renewables experience and a strong background in EC&I.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design
  • Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan
  • Electrical schematic drawing
  • Knowledge of the offshore/subsea engineering industry is beneficial but not essential
  • Knowledge of HV and LV systems
  • Variable drive systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential
