About Us:

Join our dynamic Manufacturing team as an Electrical Calibration Operator. We are a leading engineering company committed to excellence in precision engineering and innovation.

Role Overview:

As an Electrical Calibration Operator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our equipment. You'll be responsible for calibrating both Special To Type Test Equipment (STTE) and Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment, contributing to the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to support Operations.
  • Perform initial calibration, routine calibration, and maintenance of test and measurement equipment.
  • Maintain factory and proprietary test and measuring equipment in accordance with current procedures.
  • Execute calibration and repair tasks following departmental processes and procedures.
  • Generate clear and comprehensive calibration/maintenance records for traceability purposes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to generate clear and comprehensive calibration and maintenance records.
  • Experience calibrating COTS/Special to Type Test Equipment.
  • Proficiency in calibrating electrical equipment such as Power Supplies, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, etc.
  • Familiarity with In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
  • Competent in following manufacturer's instructions.
  • Desirable: Good understanding of SAP.
  • Time served apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3.
  • City & Guilds part 2 & 3/ONC/HNC in Electronics.
  • Experience working on Environmental Stress Screening Facilities (ESS) is advantageous.
