Guidant Global is looking for locum Educational Psychologists to support local authorities in Hertfordshire at peak time during the academic year. The role come with a favourable daily rate of £600 per day Out of scope from IR35.

Though each authority has its requirements, the general roles and responsibilities in this Educational Psychologist role include:

  • Assisting the authority in identifying, assessing and reviewing young people with Additional Needs and their subsequent provision
  • Providing consultation, advice, support, assessment and intervention to schools and colleagues on the educational, psychological, social, emotional and mental health needs of children and young people, including those with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Providing support on a consistent basis, in line with the Local Authority's needs

You will be working in an integrated practice framework and as part of Integrated Services for Learning. This will involve sessions with young people, parents, carers, and families in diverse settings providing robust, reflective, informed, and inclusive educational psychology support.

This is a face to face role with the service users for the assessments and WFH admin

To apply, you will need Educational Psychology experience, along with:

  • A professional doctorate or Master's in Educational Psychology, and HCPC Registration
  • BPS membership
  • An understanding of current legislation and national guidance
