Salary Circa £45,000 per annum

Full time/37 hrs a week/permanent

Location: Huntingdon & Home Working

Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you with hybrid working, with an average of 2-3 days a week in the office as required. Your based location would be Lancaster House in Huntingdon

We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented Economic Regulatory Analyst to join our team! In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the achievement of regulatory objectives, conducting insightful reporting and analysis of company performance, and providing valuable support to the broader goals of our Economic Regulation team.

What you'll be doing:

- Ensure reliable presentation of the company's performance through completion of the Annual Performance Report (APR) and relevant sections of the Annual Integrated Report (AIR)

- Support maintenance and development of the APR Business Management System

- Oversee and direct work of the IMS Lead who maintains the APR Business Management System

- Identify risks to data quality and support colleagues in achieving improvements

- Establish, maintain and chair a network of key report providers for the exchange of knowledge and intelligence

- Support completion of the monthly management board report

- Make AW and industry data readily available to AW colleagues and third parties as required

- Provide analysis of AW comparative performance, competitor insight, benchmarking evidence

- Be an expert on the regulatory performance framework and share insights internally

- Identify and highlight opportunities for business success within the performance framework

What does it take to be successful?

- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerate discipline

- Knowledge of the technical aspects of water & water recycling provision would be an advantage

- Knowledge of the regulatory framework of the E&W water industry would be desirable

- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams to complete objectives

- Working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines

- Working with director and senior manager level colleagues
