Ecommerce Manager

Location: South Manchester

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 plus benefits

Our Client, an established lifestyle retailer now has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and talented Ecommerce Manager to join their team in South Manchester.

This role is pivotal to the success of the business and offers huge potential for the successful candidate to have the autonomy to build something unique and help our client to grow in their hugely competitive market.

Reporting to the head of the business as Ecommerce Manager you will be accountable for providing and delivering the ecommerce strategy for the business; whilst being responsible for the development of the company’s growth and presence online and accountable for delivering key performance indicators and determining the parameters of the online presence of the business including developing the online marketing calendar and project managing any online-based projects.

Responsibilities

  • Developing the web strategy and continually identifying website areas of improvement and for driving sales.
  • Management and development of the company website, making the relevant changes both visually, functionality and commercially
  • Planning and executing data capture and utilisation for marketing purposes i.e. email marketing, social,
  • Driving change and innovation within a challenging and competitive marketplace

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is entrepreneurial but technically minded who is passionate about delivering online growth and who is able to maintain and update web content, while maximising conversion to sales, you will have previous experience working as an Ecommerce Manager - preferably within a retailer/marketing environment with knowledge of working with magento.
