Prospero Teaching are recruiting for specialist teaching assistants who can work on a 1-1 basis and within groups with students from KS4. All students have additional needs and can be challenging at times. This role is for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on a long term basis.
We are looking to recruit committed teaching assistants who have experience working with children who have complex needs. You will have to deal with challenging behaviour and counteract and diffuse difficult situations.
This roles would only be suitable for enthusiastic, driven and creative candidates with previous experience of working with children or young people with behavioural and mental health problems either in a school/residential setting/ youth work capacity.
*Ideally you will have the team teach qualification and a current DBS on the update service *
A registration process will need to be followed before starting the role, therefore you must be able to provide two references demonstrating the above skills.
