Are you passionate about transforming outcomes in EYFS from a leadership perspective? A highly reputable school are seeking an experienced Early Years leaderto play an instrumental role in the strategic development of the EYFS provision!

On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to recruit a dedicated Early Years leader for an exciting leadership role at a school based in Heald Green, Stockport. The role is full-time from September and comes with a TLR with a focus on the continual development of learning in EYFS and across the school.

This single form entry school is proud of the diverse community it serves. The school most recently achieved 'Good' from OFSTED and celebrate the fantastic pupil progress across subjects. Class sizes are relatively small and the school takes a real pride in providing an education that is tailored to individual children's specific needs - the children are encouraged to learn and grow in all aspects of school life. About the Role

As a strategic leader, the successful candidate will be able to lead by example in the classroom, modelling best practice and playing a key role in developing research-informed pedagogy so that the EYFS provision is continually improving. The successful applicant will have leadership experience and be a driven to transform outcomes for both pupils and adult staff.

The school are seeking a committed teacher and EYFS leader who will:

  • Attain the highest standards of teaching and learning across Early Years and demonstrate professionalism in every aspect of the job
  • Have a proven track record of excellent classroom practice within EYFS, including the ability to be able to critically reflect and evaluate your own teaching
  • Be able to monitor, evaluate and develop the quality of teaching and learning based on EYFS principles
  • Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families which are underpinned by high classroom expectations
  • Be a reflective practitioner who will assess, record and report on pupil performance in addition to monitoring social and emotional wellbeing
  • Show excitement with research and innovation with a view to improving outcomes in EYFS and being committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
  • Be dedicated to the long-term position and want to fully-immerse yourself in the role and school life.

Essential Requirements:

  • You must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in Early Years
  • Leadership experience is essential (EYFS department - highly desirable)
  • Excellent references to support your previous experience as a teacher/leader in an EYFS setting
  • Provide a CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any gaps explained
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Have a right to work in the UK.
