Are you someone who has completed your PGCE or Teaching Degree and searching for your first Teaching position?

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we work with a number of Primary Schools across the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area who are seeking Early Career Teachers to join their schools from September.

Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time position, we have some great opportunities for you!

The schools we work with have passionate teaching teams who are creative and energetic and are always looking to support one another.

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are ready to assist an early careers teacher to gain vital experience and build on their confidence.

The Role

We are keen to support you as an ECT to find your first teaching position and help you build your experience and skillset to become a successful teacher.

There are a number of opportunities within these schools; EYFS Teacher, KS1 Teacher, KS2 Teacher and PPA Teacher. We will take some time to understand your needs and your preferences to find the best fit for you.

You will be expected to:

  • Have positive behaviour management techniques.

  • Work in partnership with other Class Teachers to bring the best teaching opportunities to the students.

  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistants to support individual children.

  • Build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

  • Hold high expectations of the pupils' achievements.



Working with Long-term Teachers:

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
