The Email Marketing Specialist forms one of the core positions within the wider UK marketing team, responsible for all eMarketing campaigns, from concept design and scheduling to ongoing implementation and performance tracking and reporting. Email marketing platform experience with Marketing Automation platforms is essential, alongside strong project management skills and a keen eye for detail.

*The development, delivery and reporting of company eMarketing
*The design and creation of effective emails
*The scheduling of emails
*E-marketing performance tracking and analytics, feeding back to key stakeholders
*Identifying target audience and creating and deploying targeted campaigns
*Creation and deployment of automated journeys to targeted groups
*Growing marketing lists
*Working closely with other departments (such as Events, Business Development and Customer Service) on the creation and deployment of emails
*Creating and owning eMarketing calendars to ensure that all departments utilise the eMarketing system in a way that gives value to our target audience and does not inundate them with communications
*Provide e-marketing support and guidance to other departments
*Proven experience working in an e-marketing role
*Attention to detail
*Sounds understanding of marketing principles
*Strong understanding of analytics, conversion rates, click through rates and other metrics
*Strong communication, strategic thinking and organisational skills, along with the desire to bring innovative ideas to the marketing team.
*Experience with Photoshop and InDesign desirable.
*Ability to troubleshoot problems
*Ability to define new audience types
*Good understanding of database management and segmentation
*Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation
