E-Commerce Manager

Manchester/Hybrid/Remote

Up to £45k

Our client is a dynamic marketing agency specialising in digital marketing and e-commerce solutions. Their clients are in beauty, skincare, fashion and more. They are seeking an experience E-Commerce Manager to join their vibrant team. The candidate will be managing and optimising client's e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform. You'll need a keen understanding of digital retail to be successful in this role.

Day to day responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of clients' e-commerce websites on Shopify.
  • Execute merchandising strategies, including product categorization, presentation, and promotion to maximize sales.
  • Coordinate and implement sales promotions, ensuring timely execution and alignment with clients' marketing strategies.
  • Continuously analyse website performance and customer engagement, implementing improvements for usability, design, content, and conversion.
  • Add new products to the websites, including writing product descriptions, optimising images, and ensuring accurate pricing and inventory levels.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align e-commerce strategies with overall digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on e-commerce metrics, providing insights and recommendations to enhance performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, providing expert advice and recommendations for e-commerce growth.

What you'll need to be successful in the E-Commerce Manager role:

  • Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably with Shopify.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and e-commerce trends.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with e-commerce analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
