Our client, a specialist Cancer Care Charity, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced E-Commerce Assistant to join the existing Retail team at their shop in Queens Road, Clifton, Bristol. Working in a busy environment, the post holder will help build the existing e-comms and social media presence to maximise income generated from online sales.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 per annum, pro-rata
Contract: Part-time, fixed-term for six months
Location: Queens Road, Clifton, Bristol, with some flexibility to work from home
Benefits: 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays (pro-rata)
The post-holder will assist in the selection, valuation and merchandising of donated goods to be sold online as well as working with the Retail Manager to develop the range of new goods to be sold via the website.
There is flexibility to work from home although an important part of the role is to contribute towards the operational hours of the retail team as and when required. This role will combine good customer service, merchandising and creativity with IT skills and business acumen and will play a crucial role in the development of the retail income stream for this Charity.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for a bargain, a keen interest in fashion and experience with online sales. They will also be self-motivated with excellent IT skills in order to build on the existing e-commerce and social media presence and expand on the platforms currently used to generate income through online sales. Candidates should have good customer service and communication skills with proven experience of generating social media content and engagement.

In response to Covid-19 they have moved their face to face services online. They currently offer support through online zoom group sessions, telephone 1-2-1s and helpline support. They work in partnership with many major healthcare providers and their services are underpinned by evidence based research.
