My client is looking for a social worker to join their duty and assessment team for a 3 month period. This could be extended due to funding and progress of the candidate.
Candidates must be able to and have experience of:
•Respond to queries and referrals from a number of different sources
•Undertake Initial Visits to families and conduct risk assessments.
•Investigate any concerns of neglect through Section 47 Investigations
•Work on Duty where necessary – often screening all incoming calls
•Work with children and their families in ensuring the family unit remains together where possible.
•Manage your time and caseload with accurate timekeeping and information recording.
Please only apply if you have a Social Worker qualification, hold HCPC and have at least 2 years experience of working in a duty and assessment team. Any candidates who don't match the essential requirements will not be considered.
This role requires an Enhanced DBS and full HCPC/CCW registration.
