Exciting Opportunity: Operations Manager - Serviced Apartments and BTR Position Available!

Are you a seasoned professional in the build-to-rent (BTR) or serviced apartments sector with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? Our client is looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead a team of leasing professionals, concierge and maintenance operatives across two high-end serviced apartments / BTR schemes in Central London.

About the Role: As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all leasing activities across the 3 assets managed by our client. Your primary objective will be to support the leasing team in achieving budgeted occupancy and revenue targets while delivering outstanding customer service to both residents and service customers. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you'll collaborate closely with the Housekeeping Operations and the Head of Facilities to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring all leasing activities to ensure revenue and occupancy goals are met.
  • Analysing market and competitor conditions to inform leasing strategies.
  • Managing online marketing efforts and social media accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including Right-to-Rent checks and GDPR legislation.
  • Utilising on-site management software to track leasing activities and resident data.
  • Maintaining property standards through routine inspections and community engagement initiatives.
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving resident concerns promptly.
  • Training leasing team members on policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating with Operations Director and Head of Facilities on health & safety procedures.
  • Completing administrative reports and identifying areas for improvement.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Can-do attitude with strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in leasing and operations within the BTR or serviced apartment sectors.
  • Innovative mindset with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proficient in managing social media accounts.

Experience Required:

  • 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in BTR or hospitality.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a leasing professional in the BTR sector or serviced apartment sector.
  • Strong numeracy skills and a high level of energy and motivation.

Health & Safety:

  • Understanding and adherence to health & safety regulations.
  • Promotion of a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
