Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate educator with a flair for Design and Technology? Our client, a reputable educational institution based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Design and Technology Teacher to join their team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons to a diverse range of students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic success.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in the field of Design and Technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire - a vibrant town surrounded by picturesque countryside, offering a blend of urban amenities and natural beauty.

Start Date: Immediate start available for the right candidate.
