Drama Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Drama teacher to work at an 'Ofsted Good' School in Hull, starting in September (potentially earlier) and lasting until at least Christmas 2024, with the potential to extend into the new year. Part time options could be available for this role, being potentially negotiated down to 4 days. Payment for this position will be between £153.85 and £211.96 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. Working hours for this position will be between 8:10 AM and 3:00PM.

This role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students Drama, and planning and marking will be expected for this position. You will take an active role in working with young people and inspiring them in Drama. You will be one of 2 teachers of Drama in the school, and there is the potential for a permanent role after this position.

Located in Hull, the college is extremely easy to access via public transport. It has an onsite car park that is free to use and always has spaces. The school is part of a large, country wide multi-academy trust, that has a large resource bank available for all candidates to access.

You will be working within a very experienced team that are well respected and renown within the College. Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
