Exciting Opportunity for a Secondary School Drama Teacher in South Birmingham!

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the art of drama? We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a south Birmingham secondary school starting ASAP and/or from September.

About the Role: As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. The role involves teaching mixed-ability groups, providing a stimulating learning environment, and fostering a love for drama among our students. This is a temporary position, offering the chance to make a significant impact in a vibrant and supportive school community.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP and/or September
  • Contract Duration: Full-time temp-Perm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver captivating drama lessons for KS3 and KS4.
  • Engage with mixed-ability student groups
  • Plan and prepare resources for effective teaching and learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback and marking to support student progress.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Passion for inspiring students through the arts.
