To do this, we rely on funding from various sources, and it is paramount that we secure this to be able to keep offering our highly regarded services.As Donor Relations Manager you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our Major Donors and fundraisers are given an incredible experience, kept informed and engaged and that the team is supported in recording income, reporting accurately, and informing our internal colleagues about our fundraising activity.You will manage a portfolio of existing, prospective and engaging new Major Donors: building fantastic relationships through the delivery of donor stewardship of the highest quality. You will also be responsible for our Events and Community programme, line managing an officer to develop our fundraising opportunities. Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Engagement, you will regularly contribute to team meetings, future planning, and reporting. What are we looking for? Significant experience of cultivating high net worth individuals (over £5,000) Experience of managing an Events and Community fundraising programme, or evident transferrable skills to manage this remit. You will need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to write and present in a clear and inspiring way. Demonstratable experience of developing and sustaining great working relationships with individuals and organisations, internally and externally at all levels A track record of meeting or surpassing financial targets, and the ability to be creative and responsive in exploring and maximising opportunities.
