I am looking for a document controller to join a dynamic team and support their construction projects. You will be responsible for creating, processing, storing, and distributing project documents in accordance with our document management system and quality standards. You will also liaise with internal and external parties to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities of the document controller:

  • Create and maintain project document registers, folders, and databases
  • Allocate document and drawing numbers and ensure proper naming conventions
  • Review and approve documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Distribute documents to relevant parties and track their status
  • Monitor document revisions and ensure version control
  • Archive documents in physical and digital records and ensure proper backup

Requirements for the document controller:

  • Proven experience as a document controller or similar role in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and document management software
  • Knowledge of document control standards and best practices
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Extras and benefits for the document controller:

  • Salary £35000 - £40000 depending on experience
  • 20 days holiday + bank holiday
