Divisional Director of Operations – Family & Specialist Services

Based: Bath / hybrid (open to discussion for entirely WFH)

Duration: 3/4 months

Responsibilities include

  • Provide strong credible leadership to teams and drive for the implementation of transformational change, ensuring that relevant staff within the Division are influenced to change and develop clinical practice
  • Lead and coordinate the development of integrated strategic and operational service financial, capacity and workforce plans for the Division and ensure that service policy developments are in line with national directives and local frameworks.
  • Provide effective financial management aligned with maximising productivity to ensure delivery of integrated performance outcomes, including Managment of resources of the Division to deliver in both quality and quantity, the activity and targets agreed.
  • Lead the development of a positive, dynamic and empowering culture of human resource management within the Division where all staff are involved in the continuous improvement and innovation of their services and Lead the effective management of organisational change within the Division in line with Trust HR policies and best practice
  • Lead on the development of patient pathways to ensure that services are patient-focused, efficient and viable and provide the best patient care and experience within financial resources.
