TM Scotland Fife & The Lothian’s branch is very excited to be recruiting on behalf of a new client based in Cowdenbeath that manufactures yoghurt, cottage cheese and ice cream.

Our client is urgently looking to add an experienced Dispatch Team Leader to the team working on a three week rotation of early shift, day shift and back shift.

Hours: Early Mon to Fri 6am - 2:30pm, Days Mon to Fri 8am - 4:30pm and Back Mon to Fri 2pm - 10:30pm

What the role looks like as a Dispatch Team Leader:

• Check and manage all stock rotation
• Manage date and code checks
• Check all incoming/outgoing loads/vehicles
• Complete all transfer lines out
• Supervise daily temperature checks
• Supervise safe loading and unloading of all vehicles
• Supervise working environment ensure all cleaning procedure are adhered to
• Cover runs when necessary
• Wears PPE and company uniform at all times
• Any other reasonable duties to ensure the effective and smooth running of the despatch area
• Adheres to all Company Health and Safety procedures and HR policies and procedures
• Cover for Despatch Manager on Days off/Holiday

What our client requires for you to be considered for the position as a Dispatch Team Leader

• Experience working within management and production
• A reference from a previous employer within the last 2 years
• Applicants with a valid counter balance license would be a massive advantage
• Due to location you must be local or have a driving license
• A good work ethic and with a can do attitude
• A team player who works well under pressure
• Manual handling
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Numerate and literate with good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organization and planning
