About us:
R&A Group Ltd provide building service solutions for their clients requirements. They operate within; Industrial, Commercial, Substation & Office facilities, utilising their workforce's vast experience gained throughout many years of working within these sectors.

Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
As a company, R&A have supported apprentices in the past, so you are in safe hands. 
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential digital support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of their office. This role is key to maintaining office efficiency and supporting the team across a range of tasks.

Duties / What does the role look like? 

  • Being first responder by answering calls, directing as required or taking detailed messages if recipient is unavailable.
  • Communicate daily with suppliers via telephone and MS Outlook.
  • Receive invoices from suppliers and input the invoice information onto Sage, a system you will become an expert in. 
  • Upload relevant information to supplier portals.
  • Assist in organising office documents and maintaining e-filing systems.
  • Collaborate with Senior Staff to ensure the smooth running of office operations.

What skills / qualities should you have: 

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good skills for accurate data entry
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A keen interest in learning new skills

Salary:
£14,526.20 - £19,240 per annum, depending on experience.

Working week: 
37hrs. 
Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm, 
Friday'a are from 8:00am-4:00pm.

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
