Position: Digital Network Transformation Engineer 

Location : Essex (Hybrid)

Salary : £43,742 - £50,056

Reporting To : Digital Network Architect 

Accountable To : Head of Digital Services 

Job Summary:

As a Digital Network Transformation Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the reliable and efficient delivery of digital service projects within network infrastructure. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies from Cisco and Palo Alto, you'll ensure the network is secure by design and compliant with industry standards and Trust policies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement new network infrastructure solutions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
• Conduct capacity planning and performance monitoring
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers and technical specialists
• Deliver user and support engineer training
• Mentor and coach team members

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• CCNA qualification or equivalent knowledge of Cisco systems and technologies
• ITIL v3 or ITIL4 Foundation Certificate
• Experience of working in a Network engineering role
• Experience of working in an IT service management environment
• Understanding of enterprise networking environments
• Cisco Routing & Switching
• Cisco Wireless
• WAN Technologies

• PRINCE 2 Foundation Certificate
