An experienced Digital Marketing Executive / Website Editor with at least 1 year of digital marketing and website management experience is needed to join the team at this award-winning online bookseller based in Leicestershire on a full-time basis. 

As a Digital Marketing Executive and Website Editor, you will be responsible for spearheading digital marketing initiatives and managing their website content to align with the company's vision of "Less screen time, more story time." 

You will play a crucial role in implementing their digital marketing strategies to achieve significant revenue targets and enhance the user experience of their website and mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical updates, improvements, and fixes for the company website (Shopify)
  • Manage and curate website content, ensuring it is updated regularly in line with seasonal trends and company goals
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, SMS, etc.), focusing on both the UK and US markets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to grow organic revenue, increase engagement, and search engine optimisation
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Oversee the company's mobile app and third-party applications, including research, testing, installation, and maintenance
  • Stay abreast of new digital marketing trends and technologies
  • Engage in continuous learning and development, particularly in areas like Google Analytics and SEO
  • Generate engaging content for different platforms, aligning with the company's unique selling proposition of providing affordable children's books
  • Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party agencies to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective marketing campaigns

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience in digital marketing and website management
  • Bachelor's (preferred)
  • Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)
  • Website management: 1 year (preferred)

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SEO, content management systems, and Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Shopify and mobile app management
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Klaviyo
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
