Social Media Executive

**Successful candidate must have digital marketing experience working within a hotel, venue, conference centre or restaurant chain**

Calling out to Social Media professionals with experience & knowledge in Digital Marketing with a Hospitality background….an iconic city centre events venue is recruiting for a Social Media Executive to join their impressive conference centre with a fun team.

You’ll be supporting the marketing and communication team to deliver the strategic objectives and tactical campaigns. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, team and external agencies, this role focuses on raising the brand profile and educating audiences, as well as driving revenue. Utilising both owned, bought channels, develop strategic campaigns and initiatives to appropriately target diverse audiences, stakeholders, partners, prospects and deliver a range of outputs.

This role will take an active lead on tactical digital outputs including social media, digital advertising, email CRM, online and SEO, and support the wider team to create and curate content. Knowledge of print and traditional marketing channels is desirable but training and support will be provided where required.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• 12 - 18 months experience in a fast paced marketing role promoting/selling a varied offer across a number of channels to a range of diverse audiences
• Experience of producing a range of communications materials across print and digital mediums
• Experience of updating websites using content management systems
• Proficiency in email marketing and CRM, and knowledge of best practice implementation for both internal and external campaigns
• Excellent knowledge of social media applications and the subsequent analytics tools
• Proven ability of writing engaging copy on a variety of subjects
• Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to think creatively and help inform strategy and planning
• Database management and GDPR regulations
• Understanding of brand and brand strategy
• Paid for digital advertising including management of PPC and social advertising
