Digital Capability Manager - Digital Government - 6 month contract - Manchester Hybrid working

Are you a Digital Capability Manager looking for a new challenge?

I am working with a public sector client who is looking to improve their Digital Capability offering, particular looking at online recruitment and Digital career opportunities.

As Digital Capability Manager, you will play a pivotal role in reviewing and updating their online recruitment strategies to enhance inclusivity and customer-centricity. You will lead initiatives to promote digital capability within our organisation, ensuring that all recruitment processes align with best practices and promote the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of our current online recruitment processes, identifying areas for improvement in inclusivity and customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the digital capability of the workforce, providing training and support to staff members as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR and IT teams, to streamline and improve online recruitment workflows.
  • Use data analytics and user feedback to continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of the digital recruitment initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in digital recruitment, incorporating innovative solutions into their practices.
  • Act as a champion for diversity and inclusion, ensuring that the online recruitment processes are accessible to all individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in digital capability management, with a focus on enhancing online recruitment processes and digital career development.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive design principles and customer-centric methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with digital recruitment platforms and tools.
  • Passion for driving positive change and promoting diversity within organisations.
