Job Title: Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (minimum 8 hours per day)
Potential for Additional Work: Occasional weekend shifts available
Hourly Pay: £23.00 - £25.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our client’s team on a temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced main dealership, handling a variety of technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of technical tasks, from routine servicing and repairs to more complex diagnostic work and major repairs.
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques.
- Complete repairs to high standards, ensuring attention to detail and precision.
- Adapt to a wide variety of jobs, demonstrating flexibility and expertise in your role.
- Work efficiently in a busy dealership environment, meeting the high standards expected in a main dealership.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- MOT Licence: Preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in an automotive workshop, with a strong background in diagnostics and vehicle repair.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (minimum 8 hours per day).
- Potential for additional weekend work, paid at a weekend rate.
