DevOps Engineer

You will take responsibility for working within an Agile team, maintaining and developing new features for the company’s cloud based product. With an exciting roadmap ahead as they look towards continuous delivery and a transition to the cloud.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work within a team of software developers and members of QA to deliver value as part of an Agile development process
  • Managing their Azure infrastructure and 'go-live’ process
  • Managing and improving their CI pipeline
  • Contribute to increased code quality, reduction of technical debt and automated testing
  • Implement new product features using C# and C++ in a multi-platform environment (Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Chrome OS)

Required skills/experience/qualifications:

  • Commercial experience (or equivalent) of C++ or .NET software development
  • Strong understanding of cloud deployment, scalability and security
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
  • Ability to make the DevOps role your own, driving best practice and keeping up-to date with the latest technologies and practices

Working with lots of different technology, we don’t expect you to know it all already. Skills in one or more of the following would definitely be an advantage:

  • Scripting and automation skills
  • Windows Administrator expertise
  • SQL and Database Administrator expertise
  • Git Source Control

Location: Nottinghamshire

Salary: Circa £45,000 + Benefits
