DevOps / Backend Engineer (C# AWS IaC) Nottingham / WFH to £80k

Opportunity to progress your career in an impactful, DevOps / Backend Engineer role, at a tech company that provides a range of software solutions to energy suppliers from small start-ups through to major household names, covering everything from connecting to the grid through to CRM systems.

As a DevOps / Backend Engineer you will build the foundations, SDKs and tools to enable product engineering teams to thrive. You'll collaborate with development teams to build solutions to streamline software delivery, ensure the platform is secure, stable and scalable. You'll be an advocate of automation and promote a DevOps mindset. There's a range of both long and short term projects as well as BAU and occasionally diagnose and resolve urgent issues affecting any environment.

Location / WFH:

There's a remote first policy so you can work from home the majority of the time, meeting up with the team for constructive meetings once a month in the Nottingham office, although you must be within commutable distance.

About you:

• You have a DevOps mindset and enjoy innovation
• You have a software engineering background, with strong C# coding skills and a good knowledge of SOLID design principles (combined with other scripting languages such as Node.js, SQL)
• You have experience of operating, optimising and deploying to cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• You have a strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code IaC, you'll be using AWS CDK
• You have experience of developing tools and SDKs
• You're collaborative and great communication skills
