Position: Device Deployment Engineer (Windows 11)

Contract length :06 months (with possibility of extension)

We’re seeking a skilled Deployment Engineer for an initial 6-month contract, with a possibility for extension. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and deploy over 2000 devices.

Duties:

  • Record attendance and monitor appointments to prepare for deployment.
  • Including ensuring enough laptops and peripherals are available for the deployment session.
  • Ensure all deployment stock on site is securely stored and properly recorded.
  • Ensure stock levels are appropriate for demand and advise the core team if stock deliveries are required.
  • Collect the Windows 10 device upon successful deployment of the Windows 11 device, and record this.
  • Guide staff through an Autopilot deployment, supporting their queries and troubleshooting where necessary.
  • Follow deployment guidelines and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Record any new issues for investigative purposes.
  • Attend daily de-briefs with the project team.

Skillset - essential:

  • Experience with Windows 11 operating system, Intune, Hello for Business, and Company Portal.
  • Knowledge of Outlook client, Shared Mailboxes, and M365 products.
  • Troubleshooting end user compute issues.
  • Prior experience with device deployment.

Skillset - preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of Prisma Access.
  • Microsoft Surface devices
