A new vacancy has arisen for a Development Executive to join this well established independent broker in West Yorkshire. You will primarily be responsible for delivering new business opportunities. You will also work with the Business Development and Marketing teams to develop the current client portfolio of insurance and financial services clients to ensure service excellence and add value, whether through delivering additional products, services or benefits. The campaigns will involve direct calling, prospect and client meetings and networking. You will develop new business campaigns to create additional income and opportunities. You will be expected to provide reports and other information as required in support of the generation of new business.

Applicants applying for this vacancy must have experience in a business development or sales role and a professional services background is desirable. To have a good understanding of commercial insurance classes and associated personal insurance of higher value risks. You will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills including initiating contact with prospects through direct calls. You will also have the ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients and professionals. A full driving licence is essential as the role may occasionally include travelling.
