Desktop Support Engineer
My exclusive Client in Norwich is looking for an experienced 2nd line / Desktop Support Engineer to join their exciting, forward thinking business.
The successful candidate will join the Desktop Support and Helpdesk Team providing first and second-line support to the users of the organisation. The successful candidate will be mainly helping with the building and deployment of new PCs, decommissioning old hardware, installing IP telephony, installing software, installation and configuration of printers, migration of existing data centre & switch gear, cabling and general trouble shooting. Mobile devices are also supported.
We need someone with good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus. The ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision and to have the ability to learn quickly and handle complex ideas
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of Windows 10
Knowledge of internal workings of PCs and support issues
Experience of Microsoft Office 365
Practical experience of PC support issues
