Design Technology Teacher
  • Contract: Full Time, Long Term
  • Location: Rushden
  • Salary: £180-£300 per day
  • Start Date: September 2024 

We are seeking a Design Technology Teacher for a highly regarded secondary school in the Rushden area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to join a dynamic team from September 2024. The role is full-time and long-term, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful initial period through our agency.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach Resistant Materials, Product Design, Food Technology, or Textiles up to KS4.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Business and Computer Science to enhance cross-disciplinary opportunities.
  • Foster innovation, creativity, and student engagement within the faculty.
  • Contribute to the school’s strategic vision and development.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in Design Technology education.
  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
  • A passion for promoting excellence in teaching and learning.
