Rotherwood Education are looking to recruit a highly motivated Design Technology Teacher (Engineering & Food Technology) to join a forward thinking, vibrant high school in Keighley.

This position is set to start at Easer, is part-time and ongoing with a view to becoming permenant.

As a full time Design Technology Teacher (Engineering & Food Technology), the applicant will be expected to take part in any necessary activities/ duties of a permanent member of staff including planning and parent's evenings if required.

The successful Design Technology Teacher (Engineering & Food Technology) will:

  • Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS
  • Have previous experience teaching Engineering and Food Technology to KS3 and 4.
  • Also teach 1 lesson each of Art and PSHCE.
  • Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management
  • Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history
  • Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
  • Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks
