Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing product designs from concept to completion, ensuring they meet technical requirements and are manufacturable within cost and time constraints. The Design Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative solutions to market while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop detailed design specifications based on project requirements and user needs.
  2. Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to visualize and refine design concepts.
  3. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate design concepts and propose solutions.
  4. Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design performance and integrity.
  5. Generate comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical reports.
  6. Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are producible and meet quality standards.
  7. Participate in design reviews and provide technical support throughout the product development lifecycle.
  8. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to incorporate best practices into design processes.
  9. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimizing design workflows and efficiency.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and external partners/vendors.
