An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Registered Nurse to work closely with the senior Charge Nurse in leading the team at Leith Community Treatment Centre, Outpatient Department.

While the support of patients attending a range of primary, community and secondary health care clinics provides variety in itself , this job has even more to offer as the department also delivers minor surgery, vasectomy and endoscopy procedures which are supported by the whole nursing team.

The Endoscopy suite has recently been fully refurbished and the team has grown to support the delivery of Transnasal endoscopy 5 days per week.

This role offers the post holder fantastic opportunities in assisting in the development of the service and the team and to work with a degree of autonomy whilst maintaining links with colleagues across Lothian and within the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership.

Shift patterns are flexible, Mon - Frid, 08.00 – 17.30

Successful candidate will be expected to undertake onsite training and achieve relevant competencies within a reasonable time frame.
