Delivery Drivers / Drivers Mates

Acorn by Synergie are proud to be recruiting for Drivers and Drivers Mates for their client located in Woolston, Warrington

The role consists of delivering and installing products in customers homes.

Hours of work are 7am to 4pm, 5 days out of 6 - flexibility is needed on this

The rate of pay starts at £11.44 per hour for drivers mates and £12.00 per hour for drivers, these rates increase after successful completion of a 12 week probation period on site.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a friendly and personable nature, with a passion for great service and making customers happy!

Confident driver: Youll to have a current valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.

Experience: Previous 3.5T van driving experience is a must, and it would be super handy if you also had some knowledge of home delivery services.

Relationship Builder: A positive work ethic and thrive as a part of a team.

Resilient: Things don't always go to plan, so remaining calm under pressure is important.

Communicator: Using your excellent communications skills, you`ll be able to build rapport and establish great relationships with customers and colleagues.

Willing to learn: To begin with, your ability to follow instructions will be important. As part of your induction, you'll be trained to be a top-notch assembler, so being open and willing to learn will be a big help.

Hands on: There is some heavy lifting and manual handling as part of this physical role

Flexible: You will need to be flexible with your working hours, including working on Saturdays
