Experienced delivery driver/warehouse person - Electrical wholesale branch based in Stafford.

Full job description

7am - 5pm - working with the warehouse team for a national electrical wholesaler

-Responsibility of your van and deliveries
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload packages and products from the van
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements
- Verify the accuracy of delivery contents and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Warehouse duties

Stock control/goods in and goods out

keeping all areas clean and tidy

updating stock reports

dealing with returns

Qualifications

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy packages or products, up to [insert weight limit]
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
