SJC Partners have been mandated by one of the UK’s leading providers of company sale services and most active dealmakers to recruit a Deal Origination Executive to generate new business opportunities.

Responsibilities for the role would cover, but not be limited to:

  • Utilising a variety of research techniques to target businesses considering their sale/exit strategy.
  • Participating in meetings with businesses and company owners.
  • Working closely with internal marketing professionals to ensure pitch materials are of high quality.
  • Taking ownership of key research and analysis regarding acquisition activity in the market to help win new mandates (e.g Sector and Market trends, Private Equity activity).
  • Providing key support/input to pitch documents.
  • Liaising with clients to engage them in the sale process once mandate won.

Applicants should possess some form of origination/business development experience with research being a critical tool within that.  Ideally this experience will be from within the deals/M+A world but applications are welcome from individuals from outside Deals. You will pride yourself on your attention to detail, ability to run multiple projects concurrently and be a natural self-starter who can be highly pro-active.

This represents an outstanding front end origination role in which you will have an opportunity to drive and generate high profile deal mandates.   A competitive salary with a market leading bonus scheme, where you will be rewarded for the mandates you have helped to secure, is on offer (up to 75%).
