Job Title: Senior Test Engineer/Manager - DDaT (Digital, Data, and Technology)

Location: Flexible (Hybrid)

Type: 1-Year Contract

Salary: £600/day

Are you an experienced Test Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a government client in the dynamic field of Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT)? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team and facilitate testing activities for critical projects, including the ReFIT initiative and the upcoming Windows 11 update.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee testing activities to ensure alignment with project objectives, scope, and schedule.
  • Manage the test team, resources, processes, and deliverables.
  • Define the test strategy, plan, cases, and metrics.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure testing meets their needs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure smooth testing processes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the test team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or Senior Test Engineer, preferably in a government role
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing testing activities for complex projects, including defining test strategies and plans.
  • Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
