DCO Project Manager - Solar - London - £55,000-£70,000 + rest of package

Piper Maddox are exclusively representing a DCO developer with 4GW worth of pre-obtained grid connections, and 6 solid large scale solar projects in their pipeline!

They are looking for a motivated planner, who is keen to work client side in the renewable energy industry. You will lead and advise on all aspects of a project's life cycle, from initial site selection, application preparation, local authority liaison, stakeholder engagement, etc.

Their senior leadership team are very well networked, well funded, and able to offer you an abundance of support in ensuring these projects get to completion.

What would your role look like but not be limited to?:
-Leading the NSIP planning process for the UK portfolio and also working on other renewable projects.
-Helping the wider team to gain more insight into the NSIP process.
-Great knowledge of the planning system e.g., being able to see planning constraints, understanding GIS tools, site visits.
-Leading on the planning application process which would entail project management of consultants; reviewing documents; working with other internal teams; reporting on risk etc.
-Building relationships with case officers, councilors, and other key people.
