Database Analyst
Rate: £400 - £500 per day (via Umbrella / Inside IR35)
Duration: 6-Months initially
Location: mostly remote based (some travel will be required to Newcastle office).
Overview:
One of the largest digital banks in the UK is looking for an experienced Database Analyst. This contract role presents a unique opportunity to utilise your SQL Server skills in a progressive banking environment.
What you will be doing:

Sustain and enhance the SQL server database atmosphere.
-
Integrating SQL server database builds, patching and upgrades.
-
Multiple tasks in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.
-
Employing the ITIL Service Management awareness in your everyday tasks.
What will need to have:

Experience with SQL Server database (versions 2019+).
-
Experience with SQL Server and Windows server patching.
-
Experience of PowerShell or scripting for automating tasks
-
Proficient knowledge of SQL Server architecture according to MS standards
Desirable Skills:
-
Experience of ServiceNow and managing configuration items.
-
Demonstrable experience with TDE (Transparent Data Encryption).
-
Exposure within banking or Financial Services.
-
MCSE Certification for SQL Server Administration or equivalent is highly appreciated.
