Job Title: Database Analyst
Location: Norwich
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

Cooper Lomaz are excited to be supporting a national company in the search for a Database Analyst. In the role as a Database Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the business database, providing support to the wider business in accessing the data, and leading the IT team relating to the database. You will lead the setting up and design of the database, implementing new databases to support the businesses.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide Support to the wider IT Team to tickets relating to the database, resolving issues and incidents in line with the company's SLAs.
• Lead the design and setting up of new company Databases.
• Support the wider company with accessing data.
• Ensure the data stored and how it is stored is in line with the company's GDPR and Security policies.
• Develop proactive specifications for performance or technical enhancements, encompassing hardware, software, and new systems.

Required Skills:

• You will need to have substantial experience working with SQL databases, SQL Scripting, TSQL, and Query Optimisation.
• Proven background in designing and implementing databases.
• Able to generate reports and specifications to ensure continuous improvements relating to software, hardware and new systems performance and technical abilities.
• Have experience working with Power BI, managing gateways, dataflows and performance management.

Salary & Benefits:

• Up to £50,000 depending on experience.

Shift Pattern:

• Hybrid working.
• Monday - Friday - with some flexibility due to out-of-hours being required for go-lives etc.
• Some travel around the UK will be required from time to time, but you will be based in their Norwich office.
