We are seeking a Data Visualisation Specialist to join the Credit Risk Sharing (CRS) investment team within GPM, reporting directly into the Co-Heads of CRS. The CRS team uses a combination of top-down macro and bottom-up fundamental analysis to invest in and manage risk transfer transactions issued by global banking institutions. The highly experienced CRS team has a 12+ year track record with cycle tested investment results and a transaction history back to the 1990s. The team has a focus on developing an edge using data analytics, as well as utilizing their existing competitive advantages in the areas of sourcing, diligence and analysis.

We are offering a unique opportunity for an exceptional candidate to shape the future of our reporting, marketing, and management information activities. In your day-to-day role you will be working closely with the Portfolio Manager based in London as well as collaborating with key stakeholders and teams across Man within marketing, technology and data, supporting strategic initiatives and growth projects for the CRS strategy.

You will be responsible for running operational workstreams to deliver outcomes contributing to effective portfolio management, risk management, investor reporting, counterparty reporting and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a key point of contact across investment and marketing teams to facilitate the effective delivery of strategic projects and initiatives
  • Partner with multiple internal functions to source and manage critical data and information
  • Manage projects as required, originating from CRS strategic growth objectives
  • Lead on the planning, preparation and coordination of materials and meeting activity related to CRS Investment & Risk Committees
  • Own the administration of core business technology systems in support of CRS, including PowerBI, Tableau and Sharepoint sites, and ad-hoc troubleshooting
  • Support senior management with ad-hoc and regular reporting (including prioritization, preparation and coordination)
  • Management of ad-hoc non-investment data and reporting issues and activities
Key Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in a data infrastructure/analysis/visualisation capacity
  • Expertise using business intelligence tools such as Tableau or PowerBI,
  • High level of proficiency with SQL, Python, or similar languages
  • Strong background in the management, use and querying of relational databases, as well as the associated data analysis
  • Strong sense of ownership over work product with attention to detail
  • Organised and diligent with ability to multi-task and execute on tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to form productive working relationships and collaborate with individuals across business functions within Man Group
  • Experience within asset management and an understanding of the transaction lifecycle would be desirable
  • Strong academic record with a degree from a leading university
