Data Test Manager Contract

Data Test Manager / £400pd - £450pd / 6 Months / Watford Office - 3/4 days a week

I'm recruiting a Data Test Manager to work on a large programme of work for a well known, household name. Working for the Head of Test, within my clients Technology team, you will develop, implement and maintain Test Data approach for the programme of work. This will mean working with, with the Core Technology Test team, Security and Compliance to ensure the TDM approach is fit for purpose.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of databases and data analysis procedures. You will also be tech-savvy and possess excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Create, implement and maintain Test Data Strategy for large scale programme
• Select and/or develop tooling to create and obfuscate Test data in line with compliance and security protocols
• Support Test Team in delivering, maintaining and controlling Test Data
• Create and enforce policies for effective data management
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
• Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
• Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
• Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
• Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
• Troubleshoot Test data-related problems

Key experience

• Proven experience as Test Data Manager
• Proficient in setting and using Test Data tooling for obfuscation
• Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution etc.)
• Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies
• You have experience with continuous Integration and DevOps tools and practices with a view on Continuous Deployment/Continuous testing.
