Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join their dynamic team at their Global Headquarters. This role will be pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making processes and contributing to innovative solutions that shape the future of education. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as the sole Data Scientist, communicating directly with the executive committee and board members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and develop advanced analytical models to support predictive assessments.
  • Design algorithms and statistical models to solve complex business problems, ensuring effective deployment into production.
  • Utilize data visualization techniques to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders and support strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and technologies, contributing to research and development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in Cloud Architecture or relevant experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (PowerBI, Snowflake, etc.), and programming languages such as Python.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in statistical modeling and programming.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Previous experience as the sole Data Scientist, communicating directly with the executive committee and board members.
